V mi\u0161icah se kreatin shranjuje v obliki kreatin fosfata. Ko mi\u0161ice potrebujejo hitro energijo, na primer med kratkotrajno intenzivno telesno dejavnostjo, kot je dvigovanje ute\u017ei ali \u0161print, se kreatin fosfat razgradi in sprosti energijo, ki omogo\u010da hitro kr\u010denje mi\u0161ic.   <\/p><p>Na\u0161e telo ga naravno proizvede, prisoten pa je v skeletnih mi\u0161icah (95%), nekaj pa tudi v mo\u017eganih, ledvicah, jetrih in pri mo\u0161kih v testisih. Pribli\u017eno polovico potreb po kreatinu v telesu dobimo s hrano, drugo polovico pa se tvori primarno v ledvicah in jetrih. V prehrani ga najdemo predvsem v rde\u010dem mesu, ribah in morskih sade\u017eih. V rde\u010dem mesu je pribli\u017eno 2 do 7 gramov kreatina na kilogram surove te\u017ee mesa. U\u010dinkovita dnevna doza kreatina je 3-5 g ali 0,1 g\/kg telesne mase.    <\/p><p>Kreatin je eden najbolj priljubljenih prehranskih ergogenih dodatkov (zbolj\u0161ajo zmogljivost) za \u0161portnike v zadnjih 30 letih. Kreatin monohidrat je najbolj raziskana in u\u010dinkovita oblika. Pomaga mi\u0161icam, da sprejmejo ve\u010d kreatina, in pove\u010duje zmogljivost med visoko intenzivno vadbo. Hkrati lahko kreatin pove\u010da hidracijo mi\u0161i\u010dnih celic, kar lahko pomaga pri zmanj\u0161evanju po\u0161kodb mi\u0161ic in izbolj\u0161anju procesa okrevanja. Posredno pa lahko spodbuja sintezo beljakovin in rast mi\u0161ic po treningu.  <\/p><p><strong>Vpliv na pove\u010danje mi\u0161i\u010dne mase in izgorevanje ma\u0161\u010dob<\/strong><\/p><p>Novej\u0161a objava v The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research ka\u017ee, da kreatin ne pomaga zgolj pri ve\u010danju vadbene zmogljivosti, temve\u010d tudi pri izgradnji mi\u0161ic in izgorevanju ma\u0161\u010dob. Uporabniki kreatina so v okviru raziskave pridobili dodatnih 1.14 kg mi\u0161i\u010dne mase in izgubili dodatnih 0,73 kg oz. 0,88% ma\u0161\u010dobe v primerjavi s tistimi, ki kreatina niso u\u017eivali. <\/p><p><strong>Katera je najbolj\u0161a vrsta kreatina?<\/strong><\/p><p>Obstaja ve\u010d oblik kreatina. Najbolj raziskana oblika je kreatin monohidrat, ki ga \u0161portni nutricionisti ocenjujejo kot zanesljivega in varnega. <br>Kreatin ni samo varen, ampak ima tudi \u0161tevilne terapevtske koristi pri zdravih in bolnih populacijah, od dojen\u010dkov do starej\u0161ih. Medtem ko lahko kofein pospe\u0161i vadbo in je razmeroma varen v zmernih odmerkih, ima lahko v velikih koli\u010dinah resne stranske u\u010dinke, zato je bolje, da pijete kavo kot koncentrirani dodatek.<br>Drugi \u0161portni prehranski dodatki so manj utemeljeni na dokazih, manj zanesljivi in imajo lahko ve\u010d tveganj, zlasti \u010de jih kupite na spletu prek spletnih strani sivega trga.   <\/p><h5><strong>Kreatin kot prehranski dodatek za starej\u0161e<\/strong><\/h5><p>Ker kreatin vpliva na mi\u0161i\u010dno mo\u010d in zmogljivost, je u\u017eivanje kreatina \u0161e posebej pomembno za starej\u0161e. Naravni proces staranja namre\u010d povzro\u010da izgubo mase skeletnih mi\u0161ic. Kar nekaj \u0161tudij pa dokazuje, da u\u017eivanje kreatina lahko upo\u010dasni proces izgube mase mi\u0161ic ali celo poskrbi za njeno pove\u010danje.<br>Kreatin se v telesu nahaja tudi v mo\u017eganih. Novej\u0161e raziskave ka\u017eejo, da lahko vpliva na s starostjo povezane nevrolo\u0161ke bolezni. Vendar pa ni jasno, ali kreatin pomaga ljudem, ki so v srednji ali pozni fazi progresivnih nevrodegenerativnih motenj.    <\/p><h5><strong>Kreatin ni zdravilo<\/strong><\/h5><p>Kljub vsem potencialnim koristim kreatina pa vseeno ni zdravilo. Noben dodatek, ne glede na to, kako dobro je raziskan, se ne more kosati s koristmi dejavnikov zdravega na\u010dina \u017eivljenja, kot so raznovrstna prehrana, spanje in redna vadba. Trenerji priporo\u010dajo, da najprej poskrbite za navade, \u0161ele nato poskusite s prehranskimi dodatki.
