You can enrich oat gofio with cocoa and thus conjure up a healthy cocoa drink with oat gofio and coconut sugar. You can even create hot chocolate or a simple chocolate dessert with a little more cooking.
Ingredients:
- 10 g or 1 tablespoon of cocoa
- 50 ml of water or ¼ cup
- 250 ml of milk
- 20 g or 2 tablespoons of Sugar Coconut Blossom Viva la Gaia
- 50g or 2 large spoons of Oat Gofio Viva la Gaia
- A pinch of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick
You can enrich oat gofio with cocoa and thus conjure up a healthy cocoa drink with oat gofio and coconut sugar.
Preparation
Heat water in a saucepan, add a teaspoon of cocoa, and heat until the cocoa dissolves. Then add the milk, which you dissolve the coconut sugar during slow heating. If you have instant cocoa, you can mix it directly into the milk.
Add gofio to the milk while heating and stirring constantly. Stir until the gofio is completely dissolved. Be careful not to boil the milk. You can enrich the taste with a pinch of cinnamon. The drink is perfect when still warm.
You can also prepare a thicker drink similar to thick hot chocolate. In this case, it is necessary to heat the gofio in milk for a long time. While doing so, ensure the gofio does not stick to the bottom of the pot and burn. Gofio prepared in this way is also suitable as a cold dessert.
You can also replace the oat gofio with corn, wheat or mixed grain gofio from the Viva La Gaia range and indulge yourself with different flavours.
